Narrative Exploration: A Garlemald Expansion

We still have dreadful ARR story, retcons about even the most important story elements and bad first player experience amongst other things, and you want to rewrite a story?

But anyways. I hope we won't get more unnecessary empire-related content, and definitely not a empire-related expansion. 2.0 was all about empire (I think, it was so bad I barely remember), and it is by far the most garbage one, even if you take into account only the story. I personally find empire the most boring faction any work of fiction could come up with. Up until 1/3rd of EW, we barely knew anything about them, it was just one sided, "evil for the sake of being evil" faction with nothing interesting going on. Now we at least know why they're bad and evil, but they're still uninteresting and lame. Expansion centered around empire is deal breaker for me.

The hilarious thing is, everyone said the exact same thing about the Ascians until Shadowbringers came around, and the writers have since admitted that they came up with the idea to retcon Garlemald into being an Ascian tool, by creating Emet-Selch and retconning Solus as one of his identities. Seriously, remember what the Ascians did before Emet-Selch's sudden introduction into the plot. Do you remember anything? Exactly.
