Imagine one day you receive a 250$ ticket for a speeding bill with a threat of jail time if you don't pay. But there is no citation of time and location, nor your speed at the time of the offend. So you either have to search your memory for the last days/week/months/years where did you speed, or whether you actually sped at all.
Can't remember, suck it up and pay anyway, you're already guilty because the police said so. ... Will you just take it?
