Yoshi P is literally responsible for the only success story for SE Japan in the past 15 years and you want to replace him with someone else?

FF16 is nearly done (looking like the second SE success story in the past 15 years btw) which means Yoshi P would be free to devote more time to 14 again.

I am sure since aveyond agrees, that every time they look in the mirror, they see the replacement.

but really, I agree more with the CEO, since they direct where funds go more than Yoshi. while I have some issues with the game, I do not hate the game nor do I hate what its doing. even if I DID, many do not, which suggests to me the leadership of the game is doing well, which is what matters

looks some thing clearly do not go well when the biggest and most active topics here are "What's the point with that quite lackluster story in Endwalker" (on page 807) and "Was any of the 6.3 content worth waiting 4 months for?" (on page 43).
i must say 6.0 was a total fail of a story for me but i like the current one even if in 6.3 they dropped the balls on it. 6.3 in it self so far is a boring mess. yes the content we got is fun for the first run of it. then what you do for the next 4+ month? will deep dungeon last longer that a weak? will the relic grind be good? and even then how tis supposed to last 4+ month?
the formula works so far onlly as there no new GOOD mmo out in the life time of ff14. if lets say blue protocol (or any new mmo) be a good mmo ff14 will see a nose dive in players. they need to make a more lasting content and the one that don't want to do it is yoshi. he did openly Sayed it more that one time

This might be the worst take I've seen in any forum ever. Literally Yoshi takes a complete failure to the top and while he is producing another game for the same company (so obviously not able to devote 100% hell probably not even 25% of his time to this game ATM) people actually post wanting him replaced. Lol this is a slippery slope doing that and considering how SE OTHER directors has done so amazingly in the other games you really want one of them to choose the future for this game, really? Think might want to think of the HUGE risk of what you are asking before asking for that

All early FFXIV did was take the parts of WoW that worked well at the time and copied them over. It's not the massive thing worth overpraising like some seem to think it is.

non. most did copy the look but failed to see what is good and what is bad.

So why did XIV succeed? Certainly wasn't name recognition, considering the first iteration was one of the biggest failures in gaming history.
