You’re entitled to your opinion, I just personally don’t think SAM LB needs a nerf but then again, I (and most Crystal players and some diamond players) don’t have issues dealing with SAM LB.
I’ve noticed SAM LB only gets people that are not paying attention. Especially in FL where even if I mark the SAM “ignore1” ahead of time (BEFORE he even casts Chiten) simply because I predict what the SAM is going to do based on his position; people still get killed. SAM will rarely dive into a fight (even with his teammates) in FL without Chiten because it also mitigates damage. If they do dive w/o Chiten, they’re probably not good and will die pretty fast. If you see a SAM (in FL) all up in the nastiness (engagement), you SHOULD be expecting a Chiten and possible LB. It really is that simple. You can also gauge how good a SAM is simply by looking at his BH. If he has BH2 or >, you should automatically assume he knows what he’s doing. If he has BH1 or no BH, he’s probably not good (also depends on how long the match was going on for).
The 2 main classes I watch out for in FL are SAM and DRK. If I see one, I automatically assume the worst. SAM LB or DRK/DRG wombo combo. Whereas in Secure, I also watch out for MNK, MCH, WAR if I’m in knockback or golfing territory.
THANK you for sharing your opinion in a way that does not bring others down, while you are entitled to your opinion and while i can see how that would work, what do you do when you have a entire squad of samurai? are you just gonna ignore the group of samurais? You’re entitled to your opinion, I just personally don’t think SAM LB needs a nerf but then again, I (and most Crystal players and some diamond players) don’t have issues dealing with SAM LB.

Towa is one of those people that think they are good at pvp, but are actually extremely bad and they make it everyone else's fault they are losing and anyone who ranks up is just a win trader. Best to just leave it at that and don't engage with them.
None of the PVP skills were balanced with frontlines in mind. I thought we learned this with the Paladin LB cheese when taking bases.
I don't think its a matter of them being incompetent, I think it's a matter of not focusing on it at all. They wanted to fix competitive pvp and they really couldn't do that while also keeping the balance of large scale pvp. Curious as the direction they will take it going forward. Will large scale have completely separate pvp skills in the future (my hope) or will they somehow try to change mechanics of large scale pvp to fit the current set of skills. Only time will tell.
honestly i hope they bring back pre 6.1 pvp where the TTK was similar to CC, i loved just killing 20 people at once XDI don't think its a matter of them being incompetent, I think it's a matter of not focusing on it at all.
