Mao tryings to figure out where drought it. Is TONS of stuffs for Mao to do when Mao logs in. Mao finishes MSQs and Tataru quests already and is STILL lots for Mao to do! Is the gatherings, the hunts trains, the dungeons, the treasure maps, the hangings out with FC mates, Beast Tribe quests, side quests that Mao nots done yets, more decoratings for Mao's house and much much more!
There are a lot of names I used to see on the forums and players on my FL who played for years and used to enjoy the game, that just silently vanished. They posted a lot of feedback, eventually gave up and they're gone for good now. It's no secret I've given up hope myself for quite a while now, I'm definitely unsubbing and basically am just here at the moment to make sure my FC is left in good hands and my static get the rest of their P8S mounts. And they will. People in your social network will get bored of the game and move on. Then they'll stop coming back for good. One by one, people will vanish. The more haughty and arrogant Square Enix is, the less the game improves, the more we stagnate, and the sooner this game dies off. Your communities will be dead and you'll be stuck asking yourself: why did everyone leave? Let it be known that we told you the reason why and you didn't listen. Hopefully Square Enix does before it's too late.
People talk about loud minority when it comes to complaints, but it's always the same few names posting over and over trampling feedback. Some suggestions get 50 likes quite fast, but then most of the comments are white knights wailing about how fine the game is. If the game was healthy, there wouldn't be a need to white knight it so aggressively nor would some players feel so threatened by simple feedback.
My advice? If you aren't enjoying FF14, quit, honestly. Why spend years more being trampled on and hoping for feedback in an empty game when there's better entertainment out there? Other MMO's are fairly flawed too in lots of ways, but many of them are fun and engaging. I've been having a blast. I'd almost forgotten games can give you that "I would play this all night if I could" feeling. The sooner you drop this game the sooner you can find something worth your time.
Just stumbled across this thread about “solutions for content drought” only to find the suggested solutions were to add content.Add in Extreme Mode for all Dungeons currently in the game
Add in Extreme Dungeon Roulette as part of the bargain.
I think Solo Monster FATES similar with Bozja's Duels would add some excitement to currently dead areas in all Zones from 2.0 to current.
Solo Story Bosses - Besides Normal give Hardcore players a extreme version to solo against
Group Bosses in Story Mode - Give these a Hard Mode Variation that uses Extreme mechanics
Another thing to add is adding mini-scenario Adventures not related with the main story in between patches
Well if that were to happen, this thread wouldn’t exist in the first place /eye roll

It is true. Less than 1% forum chara can defeat MSQ. Can not do the rotation. Can not do the from cold quest. Can not do the normal fight. Can only do the salt posting on the forum because no other content in the mildcore mode. Is exploit of the sub player. Do not cater to 1% of forum who play game. They can not understand the pain.
~You may defeat us but our principal is in violet. Indivisible.~
~God King Solus and the Princess Svelte Lana~
Some people dont want to take break. Many players wanna stay because of their friends and housing. With housing, you are not even allowed to take more than 1 month break.

I think the devs have a lot on their plates right now, with the assets being updated and the old instance content being scripted and reworked for NPCs. People kinda forget about this since we don't really notice these things.
