Yeah, you're right. There's a significant difference. I would rather go back in time and resume slamming my head against pre-nerf Alexander Savage than I would set one foot in Orbonne Monastery again, especially with randoms.
I liked Orbonne but too many times I had a wipe on Cid because someone misplaced the AOE and killed everybody followed by a vote abandon and completely wasted my time.

I feel a common trend with people who complains about something and bring up their suggestion seem to have a very ... naive way of thinking. They believe if the developers do exactly what they want, then thing will definitely turn out exactly how they think it should ... often either ignore or ignorant to the fact that most of the time it doesn't.
Orbonne (or the whole Ivalice tbh) was the perfect example of making harder doesn't make people play better, it just make people stop playing. And it's a snowball effect. I do savage and ultimate and I hate that place with a passion, even when it's in season. And if roullete ever put me in it, I eat the 30min pen without a single hesitation. Also kinda remind me of the "let's lock content behind FC and that will definitely make FC more popular!" thread last month. To the people who had been here before, we were just like "no, lock content behind FC ain't gonna make it more popular, it just sent that content to death door on an express".
