I haven't noticed any sound while flying but then I have the BGM enabled.

The whistle when I mount and dismount is getting a bit annoying though, especially during hunt trains where other players are also using it.

IIRC people datamined the Street Attire added to the game files around the same time it was released in Korea... and then it was added to the mogstation like a couple months later. This might be a similar case... I'd think something made available around the next patch, since right now we got the Balloon mount that is somewhat similar, and releasing those apart is (sadly) better for a business perspective.
