There's a bare minimum work route of just gathering what's needed to build everything and focus on working the cropland for xp. You'll need to use the workshop some in order to get the currency to buy the motorcycle.

Yeah keep that as the island welcome center or what not. But make the cozy cabin… an actual cozy cabin. This is supposed to be a relaxing getaway and they give us a bed in the corner of an open shack, with mammets five inches away! LOL

I don’t think they’ll ever put full housing on the islands, but they could give us the same cabin with more customization options at least. And let us put it somewhere other than right beside the workshop!

I don't think you understand the purpose of the island 'sanctuary'. It's an offshore tax-haven Tataru uses to produce goods out of factories that would never pass Eorzean health and safety laws. She just managed to sucker the WoL into working for glamours, likely due to all the head trauma they've suffered.
