Female Hrothgar as a playable race. Show your support!

You know, I'm almost certain that we'll have this. Not just because of the murals, but also because of the Ronso NPCs and how lionesses in general appear. It seems to be too commonplace for them to just randomly forget about.

The Ronso NPC do appear as a nice combination between a lioness and a jaguaress (?), but all of them, to my knowledge had hair, even if it was short. The Bozjan mural did have all female Hrothgar portrayed as having no hair/being bald. But you could say that was just an artistic choice of the creator of the mural, or who knows maybe being bald was a requirement for being a handmaiden or queen?

But I would love to see both a bald and a bald but with a hairdress option. :3

I'm pretty sure the mural was just that. A representation of a female Hrothgar and nothing more. And since female lionesses are typically maneless, that's the most "normal" you'd get. It doesn't mean female Hrothgar can't grow hair or don't have hairstyles, just that the simplest way of drawing them to tell them apart from the males is by drawing your average, standard lioness.

Fun fact though. IRL, lionesses can grow manes. (Feel free to google it if you distrust random links) Sure, the process involves some hormones and other sociological aspects of lion pride dynamics, but it's evidence that we shouldn't just see lionesses as smooth-headed creatures. Hairstyles CAN be applied to them. So it is possible.

As for the mural itself... I honestly see it as how Ancient Egyptians would depict their stuff. It'd often be a featureless simplified drawing.

Hrothgar are not just lions, they are solewalking anthropomorphic great cats with opposable thumbs. They are pumas, snow leopards, ocelots, lynxes, jaguars, tigers, etc! And they are also like humans in terms of intelligence, speech, clothing, anatomy, etc, so why not have long hair!

Hrothgals should also have boobs btw! Even tho cats don't have em. Two boobs only of course!

Oh, I didn't know that, gonna look into it! But yes the Bozjan mural is very much inspired by the Egyptian hieroglyphs. Definitely wanted to portray them in a more simplified manner. And I am 100% sure they will have hair, that's a no-brainer. But there is in this game a base hairstyle that is just bald, they might add that one.
+ the idea of the more dominant female having long hair is a really cool thought to me! :3

There is already a bald option for the females in this game and as Female Hrothgar are humanoid felines a bald option might suit well. And that would be just 1 of X amount of options. Also the other feline options you choose also do not have a main (or hair). But they will 100% have the chance to have hair, like every other character in the game.

Long and flowy hair would definitely be my choice since I like the aesthetic ^^

And I don't know from where the boobs comment came from... they are based on Ronso from FFX, and they do have a normal woman's chest, so as you said 2 boobs. XD They didn't give them digitigrades to not have to remake the footwear, they won't give them 6 boobs to have to remake the chest pieces. You can breathe a sigh of relief that they won't do that. They will have a humanoid body with an anthropomorphic feline head, just like the males.
