Vaccine was not a lottery in the begining, it went towards high risk people first, specifically the elderly. Before being released to everyone simultaneously and making apts.

If resources are the issue, they could charge actual CASH for houses and use the money to purchase more servers for even more housing that they can sell, it will be a process but eventually everyone should be able to get a house, AND SE makes money.

There are still plenty unsold plots on the new EU servers, idk how the NA ones are looking but. If people want a house there are quite a few available!

I still hope they add larger apartments, I would have one on every single character in a heartbeat. A large apartment with maybe a separate instanced gardening area might be nice, although the amount of ppl wanting a garden just to grow onions should realise a couple things. It takes ages to grow them with cross breeding and also if everyone does it the price tanks and it is no longer worth the time invested. I spent a few months across my own and friends plots gardening and I have hundreds of thav seeds sitting there atm. Although I got lazy one week and lost a couple mill :x

But for those who are desperate for a house idk why you do not either transfer or make an alt. You don't even need to move your main character at all, if housing is important enough you put the effort in. It sucks that you need too but the option is there.

Thats an unrealistic option, to go to my house i would have to abandon my FC, my friends in my server, and abandon my time zone. I don't see how this is legitimate advice unless I'm stricly only playing this game for the purpose of taking a housing slot. Not to mention AFTER abandoning all of that I would still have to enter a lottery that I have lost six times now.

Thank god they dont listen to the community and they dont read these forums else they'd take your idea in consideration and we'd end up paying 250€ for a large

If the house disappears when you stop paying for it though then it would be a predatory system.

If they did something like this I would hope that the house would remain forever but you can only use it if you pay for it. Players put so much time and effort into making their houses, partially because they have to use glitches as the system is very basic.

Still this would be better than the current system for sure.

Get an additional 3 service accounts with game license.

Create characters on a Materia world. Find an empty FC ward. Have fun.

Just took a trip over to ESO and have very little desire to touch housing in this game because there is absolutely no comparison. This game is very far behind in terms of housing in general.
