Elitist Housing Must Go. Every Single Player Should Have A House.

The wards could still be there for the lucky players that can win them with extremely low odds. The instanced housing would be for the rest of the players who couldn't move into a ward so that every player at least has a house and then they can more to a ward one day if they like and are lucky enough.

Basically this solves the problem of only a handful of players being allowed to own a house while the majority of players are excluded from a major game system.

I am pushing for ALL players to have a house not just some lucky ones.

I know a lot of people love having neighbours and stuff, but I personally don't care at all about that. why? I have friends who I play with and that's my main focus. I'd be happy to have a house that I can invite them to. that's enough for me. In eso I owned several instanced houses including the Kvatch Sanctuary for Darkbrotherhood which served as my guild-hall. I preferred the instanced housing because I didn't need to compete against others to secure one. I hope square enix embraces the future and transitions into instanced housing.

ESO was my FAV for housing! Being able to own multiple houses and build a house from scratch using a housing mod. I wish that the players in ff14 could feel the joy of creation that I felt playing ESO

I do expect to see more housing things with 7.0. And sadly not before then. :/

Except it would change something. People could stop complaining about not having a house because they would have one even if it's not the specific one they want.

Since many are prone to complain, they might still complain about not having a specific house they feel entitled to just as many already do.

But I still think you overestimate how large a percentage of players would still demand ward housing if SE implemented an instanced system on par with the likes of what ESO and RIFT have, and Wildstar had.

I do expect to see more housing things with 7.0. And sadly not before then. :/

Just being able to know such things are coming with a fairly solid timeline in place for release would be a huge relief.

Precicely. And like if there is 1 thing i know.. it's that Yoshi P loves this game WAY WAY WAYYYY to much to let us suffer in silence, and he have this shit in the work. But the spahgetti codes from 1.0 sadly still lingers. It's why there's a lot of loading zones still and other things.

Hell yeah he is passionate about this game for sure!

In the meantime all we can do is champion the cause by bringing more awareness to it.

I'm looking forward to 7.0 and the graphical updates!

If that's the case why did I watch 30 people bid on the same house when the house across the street had 0 bids? And continued to have 0 bids for two almost three lottery cycles now.

That's insane, all while on our server every house has multiple bids on it. Zero larges and massive bidding an any medium...

Mao can think of three reasons. Stubborn insistence on gettings particular house, lack of appreciation of just how precious gettings ANY house is, and tunnel vision (literally nots seeing open unbidded on plot across street). Mao saw same thing happen in Mao's ward in Goblets.
