I ran monastery yesterday and noticed Fran’s hairstyle, it was mega long but in a high ponytail, wondering why can’t we at least get that in long? It wouldn’t clip if the base keeps the hair lifted.

Sure, but there was a clear reluctance with the bunny suits, and I am sure they knew as I did that was a slippery slope. I base that off of the clear as day resentful, "Fits EVERYONE" description they tagged them with. And now here we are. The push for gender neutrality within FFXIV is everywhere. They can't release anything gender specific without someone coming around crying about it afterwards, and you know it. That being said, I would definitely say the speculation is much lower with gender neutrality than it is with them just not wanting to release Hilda's hairstyle. Not saying you're wrong. I am just less inclined to believe that's the case based on my own observation in game, and here on the forums.

It was a bad idea because now everytime anything is genderlocked they cry like the world is ending. Its so annoying and wish they would grow up and stop whining so we could get new items instead.

It was a bad idea because now everytime anything is genderlocked they cry like the world is ending. Its so annoying and wish they would grow up and stop whining so we could get new items instead.

Yeah, that has always been my biggest thing when it came to them fitting gear like that: the resources spent. I'd rather see more items created. Hopefully when all that is done, and hairs are fitted for viera and hroths, we can see a bump in both..

We see all these requests for hairs,clothes etc but we can’t get them it seems. But the community would rather have men in dresses. I remember I myself put many pictures in this thread a long time ago. Not sure if we ever got anything close to what people put in here. It is also an issue where I feel the community managers only relay certain things that are similar to their views and such. Surely we cant have 67 pages of hair requests and never see them? Plenty of these would be easy to make. But as we agree on they are using resources on stuff that could be better spent elsewhere on things many people would enjoy and not a small group.
