Honestly I would be rather lax on everyone. I know people get heated and I know people like to argue. That's all fine. If things get to a point I felt like action needed to be taken I would be like "Hey this right here? *points to post* Please don't do it like this."

That would be all the action I would take unless it just kept going. Then I would have to put in forum suspensions...and personally...I think there shouldn't be a limit on suspensions unless whatever the person was doing was extremely...harsh.

If I modded here, not a whole lot would change. I would just be looking for clear violations of forum policies, and I haven't seen much of that. Perhaps a bit of profane language I might have to toss a warning or two on. I have stated many times that I would much rather people get their frustrations out here on an internet forum than for their pipes to burst in a much worse way at their place of work, at home, a public scene, etc.

So on the subject of mods translating what we say to Japanese for the devs; if that happens, I would have MAJOR concerns.

Look at the 'localization' of this game. I can only imagine what kind of scrambled garbage the Japanese devs would get from them. Or what kind of agenda they may push.

There are many people who assume the devs never read the NA forums. That the mods never post. There is very rare moderation/bans but nothing to point to real human beings.

With advancement in AI chatbot capabilities we could actually have absolutely 0 interactions or responses from anyone that works for Sqaure Enix.

IF that were to be the case, how would it change your posting habits here? I complain a lot, don't expect anyone important to read it, but I can always hope and use it to vent. But if this was truly just some random website the devs abandoned years ago to maintained by bots...don't know.

We can talk to eachother, have debates, share ideas, but knowing for an absolute fact that this is a dead site as far as the devs are concerned would be sad.

And I am starting to think that is the case more each day.

I mean, is it really that strange that the devs don't read the through this cesspool here where 99% of the "players" are either trolls or people who believe "Your game sucks lol i hate what you did" is constructive helpful criticism.

If i were the devs i also wouldn't dig through this pile of rubbish here to find that one comment beneath the myriads of trollposts who could actually provide helpful insight into the state of the game. They still do however, if some threads gain really high post numbers as seen by the male bunny thread. But digging through every thread and post? I think they have better to do than that and rightfully so.
