Yes, but it's not NA, EU (GR and FR) or JP. It's supported, but not one of the "official" places.

Please allow me to answer some of your questions. First of all, regarding today's emergency maintenance, the corresponding news was published on the English (EU) Lodestone as well and can be found here. There may have been however a small delay between the release of the US English news and EU English one, I am really sorry for the inconvenience.

As for contests, some of them will be region based, meaning that Japan, North America or Europe may run different contests, at a different time frame and with different prizes. More contests are scheduled to come for the EU Region, so stay tuned and check forums often

Finally, regarding your World still being Mysidia, this is most likely a browser cache issue. A good way to solve this (besides clearing your browser cache) is to open your forum profile > choose the Characters tab (the World stated there should be correct) > press your browser back button and refresh the thread you were reading. Your World should now be displayed correctly
