I'm not sure about alt accounts but I have other characters on the same account that aren't visible on my forum profile. Although if someone had saved an alt's lodestone page back when I had them visible they would still be able to track them.

Oh wow, I had no idea. I went to check your page and don't see any of your alts, so I guess it must be true. There's an option to make it not visible??? Where is that, I don't even see it. Gonna make a correction to my post.

I use the desktop version so not sure if this works on the mobile site. Settings - edit character - click on the alts to turn the plates gray. You can also swap the forum avatar by clicking the star. The star character will always be visible.

Every character should be visible and all achievement data should also be visible. It's a quick way of seeing if people are worth a spot

Some people buy clears. If you're recruiting people for a static, have try outs instead.

I would love this but those who don't want their information displayed on the parsing site would be screwed because said sites force you to use the little comment thingmajig to "exclude" yourself from the results.

See I agree with this....its a double-edged sword.

AT THE SAME TIME, Said idea CAN be used to Harass and Stalk other people.

If you want to be a Private Person and not share your info. Cool, I support this.
But if you can just toggle it on and off, then this can be used as a Consequence-Free / Get-out-of-jail-FREE Card.

This is already happening even without an option to privatize your lodestone page. People can make an alt, new account, or trial account to hide, which is essentially the same thing. The one who suffers the most is the victim.
