Considering yoship's post a threat to no longer make ultis is the least charitable interpretation possible. I hope it doesnt turn out to be the correct one.

Personally, I read it as Yoshi's way of saying "what achievement is there in an achievement you didn't really earn?" In my opinion, people that use addons to cheat in this manner have forgotten about Journey Before Destination.
I think anyone that has raided will understand this concept.
What has more value to a player:
- Countless hours spent beating your head against the wall, dying to mechanics over and over again while laughing with strangers and friends and that feeling of triumph and euphoria when you get your first clear of a particular boss?
- Running a raid later on, unsync'd - done in minutes?
Which mount or title do you value more? Which experience will you fondly (or not so fondly) share with your friends? Likely not the one you cheesed (whether that be running it unsync or cheating).

Tbh I strongly doubt they will actually remove the content or stop doing Ultimates. But I can see them potentially cutting back on spending so much time and effort on the Ultimate and, potentially, even Savage content due to all the cheating fiascos. If players dont want to put effort in beating hard content, why should devs put in effort in making it? If next expansion only gets one Ultimate again - this fiasco will be most probable answer as to why.
people are still parroting this 1%/3% garbage?
even if you ignore the fact there's way more than 3% clearing Ultimates, you're just completely disregarding groups that are actively progging the fights. engagement in Ultimate fights is way higher than you think.
removing Ultimate also has an effect on savage clears too. most people go for BiS for these Ultimates. the only content where BiS actually matters. you know what happens when there's no Ultimate? ppl unsub after week 1 or 2.
ppl would've done just that back in 5.4 if the devs didn't wait 9 weeks to tell them that ShB wouldn't have a 2nd Ultimate, and then dropped an Endwalker teaser to drown out any negativity.
I think there's a strong possibility they could move in the direction of not making ultimate anymore. It may start with just making fewer per expansion. Anyone that's spent any significant amount of time on a creative project can surely relate. It's very disheartening when people mess around like this with something you've made. People beg for harder content. They deliver and people still cheat. We received a warning back during the DSR race that they didn't want to see anyone cheat.Tbh I strongly doubt they will actually remove the content or stop doing Ultimates. Effort was put in though to beat TOP, Unnamed learn the mechs, they came up with strats, and they beat all the checks. They should just get rid of ultimate's and put the funding to normal duties and fix the head gear, hair styles to Viera and Hrothgar.
