I wish they would allow us to upgrade our floor size in small and medium plots. I would drop my mansion in a heartbeat because I prefer the aesthetic of the exterior of small plots.

That’s another idea too… I mean if you have a 10-person FC, just as a modest example, living in a small, it’s clear that the outside doesn’t have to match the inside. lol
they are participating ofc. but it's not the vocal minority here on forums. it's people that never expose themselves. why would they?
and ward hoarders? isnt it painfully obvious? they make fc's and buy houses with the intention of resell them later on with gil profit. only to make more, and repeat the process each time new wards or datacenter gets added. SE has no way to track or prove their intent. "my old friend just started playing and I invited them to my fc."
it's a phenomena that we already saw happening with blizzard/wow. once the product gets self sustaining momentum, we will be getting compromises because they don't have to try that much anymore. (gaia outfit is good idea how unfinished feature gets past quality control)
it's a little bit bleak point of view, but it's how things are once you dive under the surface.

Yet more assumptions that people get all those houses for reselling or for RMT, yall dont ever give up spreading false information do you ?they are participating ofc. but it's not the vocal minority here on forums. it's people that never expose themselves. why would they?

The problem I have with the idea is that it just doesn't mesh with the threat profile of the average RMT merchant. The point of RMT bots is to be fast, disposable, and minimize exposure of assets to GM/STF intervention. A sub farm is exactly none of these things. The spin-up is measured in months, the ROI on some servers compared to just selling the house outright on the grey/black market can be measured in *years*, they take substantial amounts of capital investment and so are exposed to huge loss from even a single ban, they require a greater deal of asset movement and so are easier to trace..
Like, I can maybe see an intra-FC operation that sells within itself for pocket change, or someone who sells to a specific community, but from the perspective of a public-facing seller? It's all downsides.

The fact it's being said times and times again that having multiple houses equals to RMT or reselling is so false, and yet people keep beating that dead horse.
Isn't it painfully obvious that if you have a hoarding issue you're not selling them?
edit for grammar.
Just to clarify with the haters...is it okay for an individual to have multiple FCs and give away their gil/buy gifts for people?
In the very first post I clearly said "This obviously has large RMT ramifications due to the amount of gil generated by this." And I have reiterated that the potential exists is plain, to say that it never happens is as silly to say that it always happens.
If folks got angry they did so willfully as it helps muddy the waters.
This too I've repeated often that there is no specific FC "group". This thread has nothing to do with any individual player and trying to derail it so that it does is growing weary. If you have specific reason to believe that a specific FC group is participating in RMT, the proper action is to file a report with the Special Task Force through the Support Center outlining your suspicion and the evidence you have leading you ro it. Bringing it here to the forums does nothing but cause the drama that we're now seeing. The STF does not take action based on forum posts.
So you have no evidence nor have you provided any after being asked multiple times, but have just decided that they are engaging in RMT, while others have told you multiple times how it would not be useful for RMT? Cool story bro.In the very first post I clearly said "This obviously has large RMT ramifications due to the amount of gil generated by this."
