    PLD Suggestion: Make Goring Blade give Sword Oath stacks instead.

    Reduce the potency and recast time on Goring Blade to 20 seconds.

    By doing this, this makes each of Paladin's combos 10 seconds.

    Royal Authority combo is 10 seconds (Fast Blade > Riot Blade > Royal Authority > Holy Spirit).

    Confiteor combo is 10 seconds (Confiteor > Blade of Truth > Blade of Faith > Blade of Valor).

    Goring Blade "combo" is 10 seconds (Goring Blade > Atonement > Atonement > Atonement).

    This makes it so that Paladin no longer has the awkward 62.5 second total rotation that forces them to basically drop an Atonement every rotation to make sure their stuff lines up for raid buffs.

    I personally really love the animation, and I think one of the reasons why they didn't just delete the skill altogether is to preserve the animation/so people wouldnt complain about animation loss.

    I don't think adding a ton of OGCD's to jobs makes then fun personally, when you look at DRK all the "fun dps buttons" are tied down to a bunch of buttons you press during burst, I rather something that makes PLD's filler rotation a bit more interesting, Goring blade could easily be apart of your 1, 2, 3 filler being a 3rd different finisher combo again, I personally think just copying warriors damage buff would even make sense, rename it to "fight or flight" remove fight or flight "10% damage buff that could very slightly even speed up skill and spell speed by a very small amount, slightly weaken your filler so the 10% doesn't effect much, buff your blades combo and divine might more so that PLD retains its dps or is slightly better

    I think OGCD's aren't really fun all the time, I like Gunbreakers because they get ammo combos often it feels good to use its apart of the job, Drk feels like your weaving a bunch of bloat. I think it's more important to have a fun filler rotation for me.

    Paladin literally has the most bland animations and VFX in the game, if anything people want the whole package to get a refreshment.

    They don’t remove/keep abilities based on animations, Kaiten had such a badass animation and was gutted despite the outrage still going on btw.

    You do NOT need to drop atonements for optimal damage. The difference between getting 2 DHS or the weakest GCDs is minimal to the point it makes no difference. This is backed up by The Balance Discord who still recommend just doing whatever in the extra burst GCDs.

    If you want a quick reason why, raid buffs are 15 seconds long, that is 6 GCDs, 1. Goring Blade, 2. Confiteor, 3. Blade of Faith, 4. Blade of Truth, 5. Blade of Valor, 6. Divine Holy Spirit (you will always have a chance to have one with 100% uptime), the last 2 GCDs are only under FoF and it has already been shown dropping atonements for a slight potency gain does not impact damage at all (it is so small it is lost in damage variance).

    Honestly, I rather they toned down every jobs' animations. I shouldn't have to turn off effects during a raid because everyone now puts on a spectacular light show with their upgraded abilities, making it difficult to see what the boss is doing.

    What bothers you are VFX (visual effects), not animations.
    But yea I agree, it’s very similar to Fail Wars 2 with the omnipresence of VFX to the point you don’t see correctly what the fuck is going on.
