Wol finally REALLY breaks off from the scions and needs to take better care of himself or new allies. Scholar natch unless they decide to be boring and do rdm just bc it has a melee rotation.
Why scholar? The gearsets for scholar arent super feminine like whm/ast, and alphinaud took sage.
Also Wol is the only actual scholar in canon bc hes the only one with access to fairies.

Yoshi-P had already stated there are no hints of where we're going right now, the current story has nothing to do with it. Meaning the 6.5 patch will be the thing that tells us where we're going (after fanfest already gives us the trailer for it of course).

Important thing to remember is that things can be written without being meant to be hints for future; and then in retrospect other things are written based off past things, turning them into hints only retroactively. A lot of ff14's writing does that rather cleverly, so possibility of 13th is not entirely out of picture just because of Yoshi-P's words.

yeah but are we seriously going to have a ShB 2.0? When we still have so much left to explore in our current world. I highly doubt the Thirteenth will be the focus for 7.0

I'd wager that saying "there are no hints to where 7.0 will go" right in the middle of a heavily 13th focus MSQ quest line, is fairly clear indication that 7.0 has nothing to do with the 13th.
