Well for moves you want...
Lancer
• Lv.6 Blood for Blood.
• Lv.14 Invigorate
• Lv.26 Keen Flurry
These are all prettty much must haves for a good Mnk, and will be used all the time. As for Archer...
Archer
• Lv.2 Decoy
• Lv.6 Hawk's Eye
• Lv.22 Quelling Strike
• Lv.42 Chameleon
Personally, I never use Decor or Hawk's Eye, but they could be useful. Chameleon is very useful as Mnk pulls a lot of hate. Quelling Strike is pretty much a must as it will really speed up TP gain, or if you are high on hate can use for an extra Howling Fist.
As for weapons? It depends on your build. Ifrit's Claws are going to give out highest raw damage with the highest base damage as well as atk+30. I have personally been using Moogle Fists for the accuracy and crit rate with all the new crit rate gear.
Advice? Start to learn how your elements affect certain enemy races. For example, Efts have a severe weakness to fire, so I always use that on them. If your fists will do about the same damage, or close to same, use Wind Fists with AF feet, as it will lower WS timers by 40% and allow you to move fast out of big attacks.
I use Spinning Heel for TP gain, and if you crit a lot it ends up adding damage over two hits. Remember to use Shoulder Tackle everytime it's up. I forget to use it at times, but it's free TP and damage, and if used with Quelling Strike quite a bit of TP.
Other then that just learn your combos. With Wind Fists you can move and combo very fast, and if done well can get all three major combos off in about 10-15 seconds, TP pending.

My 5 off class abilities are
Lancer
• Lv.6 Blood for Blood.
• Lv.14 Invigorate
• Lv.26 Keen Flurry
Archer
• Lv.22 Quelling Strike
• Lv.42 Chameleon
95% of the time, those are going to be your staples.
As far as where to go from 50 MNK, although MNK is my favorite Job I would recomend leveling a Job that has more end game usefulness like BRD or BLM or even WAR.

AF isn't a bad start but you probably want to look at switching out a few pieces and picking the right accessories. As a rough guide I'll list where I'm up to with gear so far.
Weapon: Ifrits Claws
Head: Darklight eyepatch def 25 att+15 crit rate+40 crit att+30 INT+20 eva-10
Body: Temple Cyclas (aiming for darklight corselet but who isn't?)
Hands: Temple gloves ( darklight bracers will be an awesome replacement)
Legs: Felt Trousers (red) Ironmans will IV swordsmans wit IV def 130 hp+23 str+21 vit+16 dex+7 (good all round melee piece)
Feet: Temple Boots Good if youre using Fists of wind but otherwise could do better.
Rings
Electrum ring+1 (switch out for str ring if you have no acc issues.)
Explorers ring: att+15 hp-15
Neck
Electrum gorget+1 def9 +30 att power.
wrist
Raptorskin wristbands def 12 hp+50
Earring Fairly pointless until you get explorers for def1 att power+5
My gear isn't the best but it's a work in progress. AF is just a starting basis, you can find better pieces for every slot.
That are 4, not 5 abilities...My 5 off class abilities are
Lancer
• Lv.6 Blood for Blood.
• Lv.14 Invigorate
Archer
• Lv.22 Quelling Strike
• Lv.42 Chameleon

BTW Keen Flurry is a must have for MNK. Will boost you dps a lot.
