    What's with all these last minute shield rushes?

    I am sure everyone who has placed CC knows that if your team is about to lose, you can just go on the point when it is less than 1% away from a cap, put your shields up and then just wait for your team to come over. And sure this wouldn't be as big of a problem if overtime wasn't forever, but it is.

    It just stands to draw out an already finished game, or worse yet, the enemy team is rewarded for losing, because it goes into overtime, and then they keep on respawning until they have lb and then slowly but surely your team falls apart, then with staggered respawns you can't defend until eventually they cap the first checkpoint and win? Seems a little weird that one person, no matter the class, can roll up with a 90% mitigation, stop the entire cap of a team and then let their team come in and rinse and repeat. Maybe I am missing something here but this just really draws an already finished game out more.

    Buy a clownsuit and join me, since we're all stuck playing this awful pvp mode. I just want to play with my friends in a small skirmish map. I'm tired of not having options. Square has some kind of fetish for removing options for players, especially when it comes to play modes.

    If you have advantage in % you can literally just leave the Crystal, elixir up and keep fighting while they have to throw bodies to stall.

    Or when people push it past mid when they have the advantage already, delivering it closer to enemy spawn when they could just camp mid.

    If your team selfstaggers from all the advangate, they deserve the loss.

    Except in overtime scenarios that go long, losing teams who can bunker to build LBs and zerg from spawn is a problem. It wouldnt be so bad if the crystal didn't go hyperspeed in overtime, but one wipe at that point is basically game over for the enemy team. It's like the only time when having a paladin is useful.

    This is exactly the problem i issued in one of my posts:

    That's a problem usually tied to random groups which wouldnt exist in team games.

    People don't wait for their team to respawn to regroup and keep trickling down to the enemy hoping something will happen, and it works on both teams. If team A dominates so hard up to the point where they're being stalled in the last meters pushing the crystal to victory and for some reason they start dying (due the enemy popping a decisive LB or whatever), then team B starts pushing the crystal back and their team eventually gets back to full strength in a tight group... while team A of randoms instead of regrouping and preparing to counter/defend, trickles down the exact same and they all die one by one to the first checkpoint and get in the exact same situation team B was earlier.

    And I'm not even speaking about that weird mechanic that makes the first checkpoint validation go super mega fast for team B under certain conditions...
