Iron hatchett question

The Felicitous Furball on my island doesn't have the quest option to get the recipe for the iron hatchett. My island is level 11, all other tools have been crafted, all plots are filled, and everything is completely upgraded. Is there something that I'm missing? Because I should have the option for the iron hatchett quest based on the research I've done.

Check your crafting again for tools (the same place that you craft the feed for yout animals) its there. I thought I was missing something but my eyes were literally skipping over it but it is in that tools area.

Meaning there is no quest for it once the furball mentions it, its craftable. Ie it should have been there when you first got back at rank 10 after the update but it wasn't exactly a quest.

Nope, nothing listed there for Iron Hatchet. The only hatchet that is listed is the stone one, but it's already been crafted. The only thing that the furball mentions is to keep checking with the taskmaster if I want to keep production running.
