Why would it matter if it's populated by one player? Private plots are taken up by one player too. As it stands free companies already have too many plots to choose from. Even if half of them were solo fcs they are not the reason housing supply is insufficient. Personal housing is. Demolishing fc houses would mostly affect fc wards and make them more dead than they already are. If you disagree, feel free to post your world's ward 25 for context.

Buying a house for the purpose of reselling it is against the ToS so if you see any of those in wards 25-29 you can report it.

In fact you can report it if you see it in any ward!

I would say its against the spirit of a free company (which requires more then 1 person to form) the reason you can have 1 person FC's at the moment is because Square has not yet started disbanding FC's. I suppose the simple solution is to do away with FC's all together to keep it simple and give everyone access to the same pool.

This issue will never cease to exist, until we get additional wards by the thousands on demand - which is going to be... difficult to do, the way housing districts are set up. Even if by some chance SE manages to saturate the hungering housing market, discussions are only going to shift from "I want a house" to "I want a BIGGER house" - and understandably so.

In some cases even "I want MORE houses" is an issue. At first glance this might be a terribly selfish thing to ask for(and it is, given our current housing situation), but what alternative is there for someone who really loves decorating and designing new houses? There is no option for saving and loading layouts. No option that allows alts to share a house with each other. No option to have multiple interior layouts accessible by menu when going into a house. Nothing. And as far as I can tell, developers have no intent on making something similar possible. Why is that though? Because of server limitations? Because having multiple interior layouts on the same layout is considered immersion breaking?

Imagine everyone in a FC being able to use the FC house's layout to design their own, and have it publically accessible. Surlely not a perfect solution. Far from it even. But at least it is something? Instead, we get treated with "more wards" for years now - which is great! But also not great, because it will take forever to deliver enough supply of houses for everyone involved.

There were others but they left for various reason over time leaving me. I may choose to recruit more, I may not. Point being I shouldn't have to give up what I worked for just because some people are unhappy or feel entitled.
