Oh true, but I guess for me it doesn't have the same feel as it does when you're sliding down a hill or over icy moonbeams.

It's one of the two examples I put in my OP. Anyway I just find it odd we don't have any of these as furnishings, mounts or stories about npcs using any of these things for traversal in the areas it would make sense. Like we know they didn't have cars right away in Garlemald until they came across ceruleum. So, kind of like how Reapers used to be the backbone of their military sleds could have been their preferred travel method. Or maybe they'd follow the Swiss and Norwegians when patrolling the Alps where they do it on ski's as sleds are too bulky. Basically where are the ice climbers and curling enthusiasts of XIV. Along with all the other cold weather things I've already brought up.
