What can I say?Well, it's finally a thing. https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...1cd1a145c2232d
Although, it's bitterly disappointing that it's a single piece. The entire thing, similar to Omega and Lyse - although at least the others had something extra to go with them, like the hairstyle.
What are you guys' thoughts?
Eden's gear is better.

Still Useless... To have so many Commendations in 2024
I'm not disagreeing with you Hroth players, but Mog has been releasing these one piece undyeable NPC sets since Heavensward. It isn't new, it isn't some lazy method they've recently developed or resorted to in order to cut costs. They've been doing this for as long as they've been releasing NPC sets. Minfilia's attire launched for 15$ on the store as an undyeable one piece set as early as 2015. Yeah, there are a number of sets that are in multiple pieces, but I'm just saying this isn't NEW. They've always been this lazy with NPC attire in the cash shop.
As for the tights colour oversight I expect it will be fixed soon. It has already been added to a list of known "graphical errors".
Been warning about it for years. This stuff does bleed over. People should always strive for quality. SE has shown they will budge if enough people complain about it, on a lot of things.
Tbh I don't think there are many here claiming that this is a new thing.I'm not disagreeing with you Hroth players, but Mog has been releasing these one piece undyeable NPC sets since Heavensward. It's been happening for a while, and will likely continue to happen.
And it should be called out at every turn.

The store page still has the same pictures depicting this "graphical error" and has from the start, each of which showing the outfit on characters with fairly neutral shades of lighter skin. This was not a technical error, in my opinion. This was them getting caught after failing to hide it.
The store page isn't going to be changed before the item in the game, if ever. They're different departments. We can debate it being an oversight or intentional all we want (I really don't want to and won't pursue it), it's still a texture inconsistency which means it's the type of thing that will be called a graphical error and get patched in maintenance. It isn't even the first time. 2B's outfit and other Copied Factory gear launched in an even sorrier state than these tights, folks just don't seem to remember because it was fixed very quickly. The store page still has the same pictures depicting this "graphical error" and has from the start, each of which showing the outfit on characters with fairly neutral shades of lighter skin. I'm just glad I got the raid gear. I did want those boots and Gaia's hair would have been a big selling point for me too, but as a one piece costume without a hairstyle this is too limited (and in my opinion, way too expensive for what it is). I have most fun mixing and matching items, so no sale here.
It is 100% lazy!! I am super weird about buying every outfit on the mogstation because I love dressing my character up but I refuse to buy the one pieces. It's just not even worth it, it's uncreative, you can't even mix the pieces with other glam, let alone it's an NPC outfit so you can't even dye it. It's just all around yuck.If you ask me.
This is lazy and we shouldn't encourage this type of mog.
These onesies really are not on the same level as multiple piece glams that they offer and are not even close to the standard we should be accepting.
Glams like this could easily be multiple piece glams. That should be the standard we hold them too.
Now these which don't allow us to even mix and match and even dye.
We really shouldn't encourage this and hold them to a much better standard that we know they are able to do!
That just my personal two cents though!
A bit of a disappointment.
