While the ward icons are not taught in game, you don't have to read the patch notes to buy the correct type of plot.

I agree that the you don't need to read the patch notes, but changing the way they presented the information is kind of poopy nonetheless.

Having icons without identifying them in game isn't very helpful either, especially when you don't need to read the patch notes for everything else. xD
