True true. But nevertheless I think it is good that they start to remove that gender thing. I wonder why they came back with it looking at the Gaia outfit.
I personally would prefer it, if they would do better and more interesting males glames, than just disgender. But at least the disgender is better than nothing and I am thankfull for it. :3
And I wish for the Makai Sets and the Eastern Lady Errant's Attire to be disgendered.![]()

Yeah, really it seems only 2 types of players want degendered gear
1 - people who play female characters who want the male glams in addition to the female glams
2 - trolls who want to be the funny Hrothgar in a fundoshi or a dress running around in duties
Most female gear looks atrocious on male characters and square doesn't put in the effort to change that at all. All degendering gear does is give female ARR race characters more glam options, which they already have pretty much everything under the sun. What irks me the most about it is they charge you 10 dollars if at some point after character creation you realize you're playing a race or gender that the devs don't care about adding new glams or gear for.
Yeah, I'd be okay with women wearing everything men can because not all women want to wear skirts/dresses and sometimes wear pants/long sleeves. However I think that if a woman outfit is strictly designed with breasts and what not, it should stay on women.

What? No, that's the exact opposite of what I was saying. I want more male exclusive glams since there's plenty of female exclusive glams and it's nice to have something special for races that aren't catgirls. There's really nothing being given in return that I or people who play male characters want when these items get de-gendered.
Oh cool this suit is available on female characters cool, I get... a dress I will never wear in return. Great trade. If I don't like it? Square says to give them 10 dollars.

I'm still waiting for the prince's outfit just cause the crown is infinitely cooler/ better.

I don't think that it's that black an white. A lot of female sets have 1-2 pieces that look fine on male chars. It's just bad that you must pay the whole set, if you just need 1 piece.
For example the Eastern Socialite's Attire. The Eastern Socialite's 'Skirt' looks fine as a glam for swimwear. The whole rest of the set looks really bad on males. (imo)
The Eastern Lady Errant's Attire would work too but is still looked.
But I agree that a lot of the female stuff does not look good on males, but not everything looks bad.
And in the end its just a game. If someone wants to wear his maid dress, and has fun with it, I don't care, to be honest. :3

I would be okay with all of this if we had an option to turn off other player's glamours. GW2 had a slick idea, I wish XIV would take a page from ArenaNet.I don't think that it's that black an white. I don't get why people care so much about the glam of other players. If I don't like it, then I just stop looking on it.
The only important thing is the own glamour. In my opinion. :3
