One thing I will say I enjoy about the 'Realms' Alliance Raids is the way the story presents itself.

No apocalyptic threat. No threat of calamity. No ulterior motive or evil plan. Just some benevolent deities who seem to want to have some fun with their 'children'. It's pretty refreshing in my opinion.
