Oh, they would. Not included there is Jack's hair from Type-0, which is also a base game hairstyle that would fit a lion race. Those definitely would fit.

The last one might give us a weird frame, but tbf it's gonna give a weird frame to most other races anyway.

The hairs we have in-game do fit, and modders have shown that they can fit. That's how we know. Modding may work outside SE's rules, but at least they show us what works vs what doesn't when stuff is implemented.

Regarding Jack's hair specifically I didn't include it in the no-brainer list because it's so voluminous at the front that I have a suspicion it might hide most of Hrothgar ear models inside its poof, which may look a bit funky. Sort of like "Curls" on Miqos (soon to be even more bizarre on Viera, lol.) Perhaps there's a mod out there that disproves my concerns.

I think if they can implement it EXACTLY like this, it will look great. But it needs to fit like this one with the hair faded in front of each ear.

If they implement it like that, that'd be interesting... but odds are they won't. But ears clip through current hairs as it is, Jack's wouldn't be that big a problem.

Hmm, honestly that does look a little bit funky with the ear clipping directly through slicked back strands of hair, but it's not as bad as I was expecting if I don't look at it too hard (a bit like a few Viera hairs with bangs, lol.) Imho it would look a lot more natural if the hair was shaved to make way for the ear, but there's about a 0 sum chance of them doing that extra bit of work so this is 99.9% what we'll end up getting in game complete with the extra texture where the ears pop out of the hair.

Ironically there's much worse than this on the current hairstyles. Like, I fully understand it looks weird seeing stuff pop out. But back when they full-on chopped off our ears, a lot of people did say "just let it clip". Because we'd rather have a tiny nub sticking out than nothing whatsoever, especially on hairstyles where the clipping either made sense or didn't look as bad. So it's a compromise some people, myself included, are okay with.

Of course, IF they manage to make things work and not have the clipping be as evident, then it'd be really good. But Square has shown zero interest in doing that sort of work, so we take what we can get. Rather that than removal of facial features entirely.
