Would FF14 Ever do a Yearly Player Choice Gift?

So would a alternative be to create a variation of those old unobtainable armor sets keeping the over aesthetic of the item the same, just tweaking it so it's under a different name and a recolor, design?

There'd still be the exclusivity of the old items as they retained the name, the newer version would be like a augmented version in a sense.

I saw someone on Sarg with the Dalamud Horn once :') it looked really nice :''). There was also a time I stumbled across a player in Eureka on my main in Pagos who had the asuran armguards (had to look that one up and omg).

Well they already gave away White Ravens so it's tough to argue that anything really needs to be preserved at this point aside from legacy tattoo/mount stuff. I've got Asuran Armguards and I don't care if they give those away again (as long as I can get Garlond Goggles).

There's stuff like "dated gear" from 1.0 that's just regular gear, but in 1.0 gear didn't have class restrictions and that was carried over in those items, so if you had it in 1.0 and didn't throw it away then you can glamour some ugly old heavy armor on your mage jobs! There's no good argument against them just adding all dated items to the calamity salvager for anyone to buy, it would actually free up some of my inventory space if I could toss them and not have to worry about never being able to get them again.

I started 1.0 as an ALC so that's my glam for my crafters lol. I wouldn't mind the dated gear coming back either, that'd be pretty neat.

I, too, want the goggles. I know I preordered the game but no goggle code.
