Sadly its likely not coming back, or at the very least not during this expansion. The fact that they even completely ignored the JP community and never even made mention or reasoning in any of the post live letters is really telling. At "best" we might see it returned in some reworked manner in the next expansion, but that is copium at this point. Until then, I'm enjoying black mage...even if I am terrible at it.

I can already see it now. They'll wait till 7.0 to add it back in so that the people they fucked 2 years ago by that point will be like, "Oh my gosh this game is so good they're adding it back in!" to make the expansion look better. Yeah no if they really wait that long I'm not going to let them live it down.

that's understandable and kinda hilarious, I mean I predicted an AoE Shoha for 6.0 and what did we saw in the 6.0 Benchmark? AoE Shoha.. but if Kaiten returns it may sunder the Samurai Player-base again.
Which me personally I do not care since I want Kenki to have more utility than to just spam Shinten like a Bitch.
While true with Kaiten the Samurai would be enjoyable, it would be ignorant to start the Songs of Zombie-like Praise again like nothing happened.
