Spoilers ahead: Now that you’ve met (some) deities, are you happy with your choice?

Eh. It doesn't matter.
No matter which deity I had picked, they all turned out to be cartoonishly one-dimensional clowns with garish design who simp so hard for the WoL I can't respect them.

This is why most good stories don't bring back or have the viewer/reader literally meet legends and myths in person. It ruins the mystery and reverence.

Althyk looks great. Is very strong. Had time mechanics as represented by his power. Am Happy and satisfied.

Also, has anyone noticed Nyemia and Althyk might also be the same 2 characters we met in Elpis for that one sidequest if you finished it to completion? I think they were Maira and Alkaios. There's quite a few hints that indicate they were once the same people, but changed due to the way they developed as gods.

Sticking with Nophica, although - being a 'Keeper of the Moon' Miqo'te, I do wonder whether I should've gone with Menphina.

Being a female Midlander whose feet is firmly grounded in the Twelveswood and Gridania, and am all about the preservation and prosperity of life; my character's outward/expressive personality lines up far more with Nophica.

I think we can find something relatable in each of the Twelve, so it might help to reflect on why you chose your current deity to begin with. The information we are given throughout the game can create a bias towards a particular god. Choosing when there is not much to go off of, is more pure in a sense. That's a big reason why I have stuck with Menphina, and would choose her again despite what I know about Nophica now.

It's actually interesting, Menphina is NOTHING like I'd expected her to look! I figured she was gonna be a little more, uh, "thicc", and for some reason expected her to to have long blonde hair. No idea why!

It's definitely cool seeing the Twelve, though I do kind of wish you'd get a unique interaction or something based on your given birthdate.

Menphina kinda looks more like a doll than a child to me. I don't particularly like her appearance, but that's because that styling doesn't appeal to me in general. I don't find her to be offensively childlike.

As for my choice, Rhalgr, he's pretty much what you would expect so no big surprise there. I chose him because I liked the symbol, the color purple and was aligned with lightning and destruction. What's not to like?

my guess is the big reveal will be that they were convocation members of some sort.

I think they might the faction recruited by Venat who supported the creation of Hyedalyn. An anti-convocation.

Maybe not thicc, but I'm right there with you on Menphina being a blonde. I just envision her as being a teenaged girl you would likely run into in the Nordic region. Definitely pale skin, hair, and eyes, and not a child of frost. A picture I posted in a thread I started before the patch was released is of Demeter, and is right along how I think she should look.

I chose Halone a while ago after a character change and having Menphina for a long time, and I'm glad I made the switch.

Her design is really cool and not what I expected.
