    Because Bozja does a better job of letting you interact with players. Eureka really makes this super painful and even punishes you for trying to work with others unless they're your exact level. I only started really enjoying Eureka once I had someone my level and we formed parties with multiple people every chance we had. Doing this grind solo is absolutely soul sucking, slow and boring.

    Eureka needs to be fixed, it needs level sync, and they need to take out the stupid penalties.

    I have almost 0 opportunity to go in and help my newbie friends. I can only try and prep FATEs for them, or worst case is de-level to actually help them directly.

    Level sync parties is pretty much the only change we need for Eureka.

    I think so too, maybe decrease exp requirement for the first few levels to help those players that are playing solo? But otherwise yeah.

    The problem is if you're solo, every new area you have less opportunity to level, no FATEs for the first 3 or so? You could try and run to bunny, but might die getting there.

    It snowballs the higher level you get in each area, because you're given more opportunities with amount of FATEs.

    I don't agree with this because I had far more social interaction in Eureka because of its difficulty level. Everyone would talk in the shout that, banter together for hours waiting for NMs to spawn, join parties for NMs, spawn parties, challenge log parties, reflect farms, cold-warped/heat-warped/moist-warped farms, logogram farms.

    In Bozja, you join a party to farm fates, for CEs and for cluster farms. That's mostly it. Because nobody was waiting for NMs, they didn't have much to discuss, so the shout chat wasn't nearly as busy when it released. Why talk when there is always a fate up and always fighting to do?

    If you just want to progress through the zone without a care about relic weapon progression, then you can just clear the weekly challenge log then leave until next weekly reset unless Krile have something for you to do.

    If you have a friend that's willing to help you, there are multitude ways they can do to help you however limited, such as:
    1. Spawning the NM that's in approriate lv range with you.
    2. If you and your friend are within 8 levels in difference, you can party up and let your friend kill group of random mobs within the same lv range. This method is the fastest way to level up. (IIRC I power lv'ed a friend within 3 days to lv60, it's that stupid fast!)
    3. Same as 2nd, but assuming the lv difference is larger than 8. Abuse the lv sync feature that the NM FATEs provide to bring your friend's lv closer to yours. Spawn the appropriate NM > bring mobs down to 10% > ly sync > kill mobs for exp > repeat until PT.

    Guided several fresh newbie friend with all that information in disposal, they all reach cap elemental level within a week. The ones that prefer to just 'went solo casually' typically reached there within 10 days after I informed them the 'do's and don'ts'.

    I love Eureka and Bozja. If there's any issues that I've seen/encountered in there they're usually isn't even coming from the content, it's (almost) always from other player who think they deserve everything to be handed on silver platter---inexperienced or veterans alike.

    The Challenge log is an EASY way to get a massive dump of exp really quickly

    If you wanna get through Eureka as fast as possible while doing the least possible:

    1) Do your Challenge log
    2) Exit Eureka
    3) Wait for next week
    4) Repeat

    Some things that could make your experience more enjoyable in Eureka:

    - Make a macro with /magiaattack on it. It will spin your wheel to have the correct element to attack whatever you have targeted. Usefull for when you do the Kill x60 of X element enemy weeklies.

    - Get a Vermilion Cloak of Casting, or a Kirin's Osode of Fending. If your intent is to go as fast as possible, RDM and SMN are really good inside Eureka, and the Vermillion Cloak of Casting gives a pretty good chunk of stats that only work inside Eureka. The Fending one is recommended if you intend to solo later areas.

    - The quests sometimes tell you to "ask players how to progress". In other words, google "ffxiv magicite locations", because those will increase your damage by a big chunk as you acquire them. The quest doesn't tell you directly to go grab it, just the general area where it is. So you can just skip the search by googling where they are, and grabbing them.

    - Eureka has some special aggro types. Blood and Magic are the well-known ones. Blood = If you are low in health (Usually by undead enemies). Magic = If you use spells (Usually sprites). You have other things such as Sound and Sight which are more common to figure out (RP walking to avoid waking up the dragons in Pagos for example)

    - Listen to a podcast or watch a movie while killing stuff. Killing things inside Eureka is not extremely difficult to require your full attention, so having something on the side to keep you entertained can help the grind a lot.

    I do feel a bit sad that you feel the way you do about Eureka, so the least I can do is give you some information that might be of help to make it as fast as possible ;-;

    No I totally get that, I don't really want difficulty removed. I appreciate that about it. There's just no opportunity FOR social interaction as a newbie in each area. Chances are there aren't other newbies there your level so you're kinda on your own for the first 5 or so. I at least wish there was a Party Sync to let you sync down to the lowest level in the party. Otherwise you don't even SEE that social interaction, it's not possible for me to party with them, and we often would have to kick as soon as someone was 2 levels higher.

    Most of that interaction usually happens at each area's max level. Where I think we need more opportunities for the whole tier. Sync would do that. It's where Bozja succeeds. But the issue with in Bozja is you don't need the interaction because you don't need spawn parties like you do in Eureka.

    What would make Eureka bearable for me: LEVEL SYNC FOR PARTIES!

    I have friends I want to play in Eureka with, but we literally cannot party together because I'm level 53 and they'd be starting at level 1. Going into Anemos, I'd be synced to level 20 outside of FATES. I wouldn't mind syncing to level 1 to be with them. But I can't!

    They got it right in Bozja, having everyone auto sync up to 80 while earning real experience on their jobs. Because I can play with my friends.

    The level sync would be a big help but my FC worked around it by having the higher level players in a separate group focused on healing (each group would mark the other so we'd stay in visual range), or by just farming the FATEs together so level sync was forced.
