There's nothing "dangerous" about people adjusting what is displayed on their screen through whatever means they see fit so long as it's only visible by them, which is what this feature would be. You're saying people shouldn't be allowed that option in the first place, both dictating what others can and cannot do and enforcing your own ideas of how people should look on others.

Right. As long as it only affects the user side and not how the game itself operates or other players, I see no reason why it should be an issue.

if they added it you wouldn't be able to select what or whom to hide it would just hide everything so you would just see people in tome/raid gear or leveling gear

Only reason I disagree is I feel it's a waste of dev resources unless they combine it with a general 'glamour is unlinked from class' update since you'd need a feature like this for pvp

This is supposed to be an RPG. Your character is working and living in this fictional world. This is your character's life. In your life you don't get to decide what you see when you go out in the world, besides where you choose to go.

You also can't cast magic or teleport to other worlds (or in general) in your life either. This is a video game, customizing your experience is part and parcel.
