Isn't there fomo in every mmo?
If it was actually fun it would still have fomo, probably way worse too
I got the rewards doing my challenge log every week only(because I hate pvp) and got all the rewards months ago.

PvP is good... would suggest to get good at it as compared to Savage and Ultimates that all runs on scripts of same old same old... and repetetative then in PvP you need to outwit the opposing players which create a different gameplay to react to everytime thus making it the most difficult content in the game to do...
Also.... this more experience you got in it... this better chances, but it requires effort that is harder to obtain than savage and ultimates to reach that... and countless of matches where you learn what is going on.
I can overall agree with the idea of the thread creator as unless I am mistaken you can no longer get the Archfiend set/Adventure plate frames from series 1 (unless you earned them and never claimed them) and this series rewards also have an unclear return date. I admit I did grind casual CC as I really wanted the mount but man do I never want to do that again, I will do my daily frontline matches from here on in as at least it is a huge chunk of exp per day for a job and it is a lot less stressful causal CC matches of "And we lost because my team forgot the crystal was an objective and just refused to run past the melee bullying at base."PvP is good... would suggest to get good at it as compared to Savage and Ultimates that all runs on scripts of same old same old... and repetetative then in PvP you need to outwit the opposing players which create a different gameplay to react to everytime thus making it the most difficult content in the game to do...

Those rewards are available for 4 months and one doesn't have to win every match to get them. If these items matter to anyone, it's worth doing more than the bare minimum to get the right amount of xp. Find a pvp discord to join up with some people for pre-made groups and you might start having more fun with it. Don't forget Rival Wings is an option and the are regular queue events for each DC.I can overall agree with the idea of the thread creator as unless I am mistaken you can no longer get the Archfiend set/Adventure plate frames from series 1 (unless you earned them and never claimed them) and this series rewards also have an unclear return date. And you are allowed to take breaks are you not, that is a whole selling point of the game isn't it? I took an extended break forgetting about the pvp series rewards until my return. Also I wish Rival Wings wasn't an over 30 min wait time when I am online as I vastly prefer it over all other pvp options. Those rewards are available for 4 months and one doesn't have to win every match to get them. I stopped playing CC this series as soon as I got the mount.I have no use of the already too much currency I have.

Like I said, there's a discord option for Rival Wings. Almost every evening on Revival, there's an event lasting a few hours for people to queue on a specific data center. And you are allowed to take breaks are you not, that is a whole selling point of the game isn't it? As for missing out on stuff due to breaks: The schedule is generally very consistent and easy to follow. Every 4 months, we're getting updates and things like pvp series change over to new rewards. Next year, the updates are in January and (most likely) May and September. Live Letters serve as a warning that an update is approaching, with the second being a 2 week notice.
While I do appreciate the consistent schedule I just don't see "you had X amount of time" as that kind of misses the point of what FOMO is. I would be much happier if they had just confirmed "Oh yeah you will be able to just buy the past rewards with trophy crystals a year after their release (like mogstation holiday items)" as that doesn't induce the FOMO aspects of the rewards as it stands. With no clear future release for these items it kinda is FOMO.Like I said, there's a discord option for Rival Wings. FOMO is all in your head. You can let it dictate your life or you can realize that you don't actually need every little thing they put out there. While I do appreciate the consistent schedule I just don't see "you had X amount of time" as that kind of misses the point of what FOMO is.
