Yesterday evening had the weirdest healer in the MSQ roulette in Castrum. On first boss they marked the boss with the mark and kept shouting in the chat to FOCUS 1 FOCUS 1 when tank and other dps were using aoes to clear the ads too. And after it was done, the tank told them to chill and relax a bit and they jsut.... Went off in french. On a giant tangent long enough that party ran to first after-boss mob pack and tank died because they were busy typing. And at that, they (healer in lvl50 dungeon) had the gall to say that tank has braindead gameplay and that their job is more complex and intellectual. They ended up intentionally not healing on second boss and kicked for harassment, but man... Some people really tryharding that Black Eft fight like its an Ultimate...

Is that the boss that summons more adds no matter what you do? If so that healer's pretty low on the IQ scale to be screaming that.

Guy with broken gear. Died to any little thing. Died at least 3+ times. Offered to repair their gear. Told them to use Request Repair on me. Waiting.jpg. I eat a 30 min penalty.

It's like the first boss in Pharos Sirius. You think you can burn it down quickly enough, but the adds still overwhelm you. At least they die quickly enough.

Yet another PLD tank who was just... weird. Holminster Switch, with a litter of sprouts. It was a Party in Progress join for me (time elapsed showed as just 1m): PLD, SGE and two NINs (me one of them). The tank was pulling tiny - you know those packs at the first stretch where the enemies are split into 2/3/2? Well, they didn't even pull together the 2 and 3 groups, as a single-puller would. They just took them one by one. Eh, complaining about single-pullers is redundant at this point. They're everywhere. They were "vocal" in chat: complimenting the healer for good healing and good DPS here and there in broken English. They ate 6 Vulnerability Ups during the first boss, and managed to not die. I was personally too focused on my rotations to track their buffs, but for a fleeting moment I did see their Requiescat stacks go from 4 to none in one GCD. Now that's definitely a mistake...

And then came the second boss... I have an irrational hate for tanks who don't pull Tesleen out of the ice she drops after the stack marker. They just stand there, inflicting frustration on not just the healer but also the melees who'd rather do the mechanic than greed and make the healer more miserable. Second time around I tried to be a little heartless and stayed in the ice with Bloodthirst up, and the healer piped up to not stay in the ice at that. I was a tiny bit miffed because they spoke up only when I went in, but they're not wrong after all - and I'd probably interpreted their intention incorrectly. Either way, we down that as well.

Everything was normal after that, until we reached the third boss where the healer spoke again.



Ah yes, the tank hadn't been using defensives either... I also got to snag this picture when the boss was close to dying.



I looked up the person after the dungeon on Lodestone's character search. The PLD was apparently level 89 on that same Job (a couple others at most on 60) and on one of the new EU servers. Since they were a sprout... they'd definitely at least boosted one Job (can't speak for story skip). Oh well.

Finally, FINALLY, I was that one mentor. Where? In Gubal, normal. First boss. For some reason my character refused to turn around so I died to the damn book TWICE. Rest went smoothly but I am sorry to my party ;;

Have you tried using Holmgang my good sir? Instead of getting upset with us healers, you do have that wonderful invuln at your disposal. I beg of you to use it to save your life.

My ED/AST regens/Benefic 2s only do so much at 60. I did the best I can for you but you immediately went splat at the start of Hollow's entry.

There are still people who don't buff for Diabolos Hollow? Amazing lmao there's not much a healer can do at 60 with those crits lol

I remembered this particular Dun Scaith run from last week where it was all smooth sailing until last boss at 2nd phase where there was one random MNK who thought they had a galaxy brain plan... to tell the entire alliance to 'hold back dps until shield falls off.' It was later revealed that homie never knew the shield also guarantees a critical hit from whatever Diabolos throwing, including autos and tankbusters. Surely enough when all 3 tanks fell real fast things get super chaotic to the point of wiping. That was one funny spectacle.
