    There're regular MNK who attend every shatter to lure new players to ledges. Knocking people off isn't really a problem as it exists at the moment. It's not even close to what it used to be. The problem is being stuck on a team with people who do this the entire match essentially putting you at a disadvantage on the action economy for every engagement because they are busy dancing by a cliff somewhere. now the real problem is people using the gap closers to cheat death while knocking others off cliffs. Imagine having your cake and eating it too while you're playing sloppy as all get out.

    Rather they bring back borderland slaughter, but well SE did a lazy thing and made slaughter(add being in the middle) and combine it with secure(base resource gain) be in the same game. Slaughter was a lot of fun focusing on kills.

    JUst don't play Secure. It's the worst mode now that Onsal is fixed. You won't die if you don't do the FL roulette once every 4 days.

    Imagine caring about the worst PVP MAP ever created in the history of MMO.

    20 minutes of circlejerking and unable to actually PVP because every base its empty, can't cap spawn bases because the enemy fights with 10 seconds of invulnerability, mid it's a joke

    Seriously why SE haven't removed this map from the roulette, its impossible to take it seriously.

    It's NOT FUN for ANYONE going up the ramp first or going down the ramp last, anyone who is a little bit further from the team while attacking nodes, or anyone who TRIES to fight them. Those trolls/griefers will run away, hang around the edge of the platform, then push anyone who tries to fight them near the edge.

    People going up the ramp can't even see what's on the cliff, because the camera angle isn't right. They'd have to instantly guard when they see a monk or dark jump down. Most do not react in time.

    These trolls do nothing but grief people. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEM. Change the map design or remove fall damage PLEASE. They won't care if they don't get any points from deaths resulting from fall damage; they will still do it because they like exploiting this broken mechanic and grieving people

    By all means, ask for changes to the slope, the abilities, the max camera range, etc., if you think this creates a wonkily unfun point of imbalance.

    But why would you call out people playing smartly as if they were villains? It's clearly no bug; it's not some undue exploitation.

    If you want me to be honest we got what we asked for. So many tweaks was being made to frontlines in general that this is the result of all the changes that was made.

    On an alt I did start suggesting to others last expansion that people start grabbing all bases instead of going for mid. Not only does that solve the problem of people getting punted to their deaths but having all 6 bases gives you 32 points per tick instead of the usual 4 points per tick for holding 3 bases. Mid is worth 150 points per spawn with the big node being worth 250 points. After being told so many times that I'm playing the game wrong and that I should not shot call I just shut my mouth. It was apparent that after the forced freelance that people did not want to try anything new. They did not want to learn anything new. It was sticking to what works. So why waste my breath? If you get punted, you deserve the salty feeling that comes with it when you die.
    Out of the 5000 frontline games that I've played I've only pulled this off 3 times. 6 minutes in scores being 400-400-1000 roughly. Of course, I have lost all 3 games being put in 2nd, being 100 points down in the end, because we got spawn camped as soon as the entire room grasp the situation, and we were not able to get out of that situation at all.

    20 minutes of circle jerking every game? I have no sympathy at all. People won't change their strategies or adapt when needed. So, the census now is to shorten the required score needed in order to finish games before the time ends. I shake my head, but I'll stay silent in my games to let the players shape it. After all, you can't really do much to change the quality of games as a solo q player. Stormblood expansion didn't have this big of a problem. However, I'll be fair and say that Stormblood pvp and Endwaker pvp are 2 different games. Today, your punishment comes in the form of battle high gaps between teams. Back then, your punishment comes from having 40 second respawn timers if you died way too many times in one match, 20 to 25 seconds average per person if the party wipes instead.

    At the end of the day, it is all about herding a big squad and a map like Borderlands without any premades is tough. It also does not help the map itself feels so outdated where you would expect an in-game timer for mid rather than memorising and looking at alliance chat with different time every bloody time.
    It varies a lot how people behave and Borderlands suffers in micro management. I remember I said before how I liked this map before because it has more tactical thoughts and unit placement but I kinda regret now lol

    Just fucking give me back Arm's Length as an anti-knockback or anti-pull tool.
    Doesn't even have to be specifically for Borderland Ruins. Just fucking give me back the toolsets I need to react to other player's BS.
