I was hoping the Criterion dungeons were going to have that sort of gameplay. Like sleeping a hard-hitting add to focus on later or using Bind/Slow on one that wouldn't aggro the tank and focus random party members. But it turned out to be Savage Boss Rush. Maybe the next dungeon...
It would require raids going back to more Coil type designs. I believe one of the bosses, Melusine, required party members to sleep/bind/heavy her adds so they wouldn't attack players (I believe they 1-shot them). At the same time the healers got a gaze mechanic and had to look at the adds to stone them. Said adds were then used as line of sight safe zones for the raidwide glare mechanic to avoid a wipe. We have something similar now for P8S with the snake adds, but I wouldn't mind seeing a return of the old CC days.
