for once i agree with you fire.
People who don't even put the bare minimum effort in to learn the job they play, and get carried through content, regardless of difficulty, are incredibly toxic.
WoW has entered the forums.

This is a satire, right?
Also, WoW must be popular to be a punching bag on so many occasions. How commendable.

Agreed, and the biggest thing a lot of players dont understand is that a parser isnt going to help much for the vast majority of XIV's content. Parsing is mostly an FFLogs side game. The majority of players are too inexperienced/ignorant to contextualize the information a parser gives them. This is evident if you have played other games with highly accessible meters.
The compromise we have now, with a kind of opportunity barrier and a don't ask don't tell policy, is fine imo. If anything, meters are already too prevalent on this game.
XIV is mostly about mechanics, the vast majority of wipes are due to people eating mechanics and most raids in XIV dont have DPS checks or phase skips that are difficult to clear. You can probably count on one hand the number of battles that have tight DPS checks.

Fluid like water. Smooth like silk. Pepperoni like pizza.
