Event items are all destined to end up in the cash shop anyway

Instead of giving us exactly one chance to get it in-game then going to the cash shop, they are just putting it directly into the cash shop instead.

The difference being that a cash shop exclusive outfit is more than three times the price of an ex-seasonal event outfit.

Whatever you think of the cash shop, you can't say there's no difference in the final outcome here.
