This would ruin the aesthetic of the wards.

There would be no logic behind one lawn having snow, the other pristine grass, etc.

Some people just want to make the world burn.

We don't have an HOA get outta here with that line of thought. If we did we wouldn't have giant Paissa homes staring my house down from every direction.
I quite like the idea, even if it's just to swap to the texture used in Ishgards housing area. It would be nice though, as an external fixture, to have multiple options. Some people may want a more dead-grass, or maybe a mossy look.
Perhaps one as a bunch of fallen leaves. There's lots of ideas behind this if it were to be an option, even though the work required is a bit more than just a new item request.
