Personally, I dont judge mentors for not knowing an individual mechanic, I think knowing how their and other jobs work is more important. Ive had experienced players, mentors or otherwise, say they have forgotten dungeons or never roll it. Thats just life, people are going to forget stuff from time to time.

I agree. I remember when I first started, Trials often had people excusing themselves at the start because the EX was so ingrained. This is one reason I hang around. I keep cycling through content to keep it fresh in my mind.

Feel like tomestone events bring out the trolls. This healer in prae goes on and on about being a green dps, refuses to aoe even. I don't need to explain that tanks don't have a lot of sustain at level 50 and that new prae's bosses will wittle you down eventually without healing.

Just gives me flash backs to tome farming keeper of the lake the first time I played with a tank refusing to put on stance for a "free for all" and trolling in chat that way...

Huh...You know if a tank said that and the DPS was for it...Yeah I'd be down to heal that. Damage split three ways would be easy to heal as long as Lucid Dreaming is available...which I think it is even at the earliest of dungeons. Just feel sorry for the DPS that it just leagues better in damage over everyone else if their AoE damage is good.

The middle pillar for Diabolos Hollow is for tanks only. Tanks. Only. If you are not a tank and eat it, you will die. I cannot heal one-shots. Stop complaining that I'm not healing you for that when you die to it.

Like the past few runs I've had 3 dps/other alliance members that are not tanks stand in the middle pillar and then die, and get angry about dying. I had to remind myself earlier today that I just can't heal stupid.

PF always makes me sad. Decided to farm tomes with BLU in Brayflox. Had two successful parties. I made some minor mistakes... by minor I mean I accidentally cost one group an entire run by swiftcasting moonflute(right after I cast it) instead of final sting, after which the boss smacked me before I could manually cast it. I rearranged my crossbar so that it wouldn't happen again.

At least I was trying though.

Third group in pf. All new people. They have the info graphic from blue academy. No one read it. I try my best to explain after someone asks about the strategy. No one listens. Before the final boss I try to reexplain to make sure everything works, they just rush right in. At some point one of them randomly final stings and we're basically forced to restart, but because of the debuff, we can't use the BLU method anymore. I tried explaining why but it devolved into insults before the party disbanded.

Kind of tempted to go to Crystal and try hosting my own party and trying again but that really, really killed me.
