Suggestion for future moogle tome events: sell dungeon gear!

I can't think of any reason to oppose this. Other than Shisui would no question be the first dungeon they use.

Shisui isn't in the group of dungeons I'm talking about. It's a levelling dungeon and you get a guaranteed piece of gear for your class when you complete it, meaning you won't need more than ten runs to acquire any gear piece that drops there.

I'm talking about the ex-endgame dungeons – 50, 60, 70, 80 and eventually 90 – that come between the levelling dungeons but don't have the same mercy of a guaranteed drop. You can run the Arboretum fifty times and never see the Plague Doctor coat.

There's so much cool stuff in those dungeons but you're relying on pure luck to get them.

It would be a nice change of pace from the gear they usually put in these events that we can easily get with poetics, minus the pvp gear we got from a past moogle event.

I don't see why they don't have an npc in front of these dungeons entry points that let's u try on the gear sets dropped from these dungeons.

There kind of is... Filling parties for those dungeons for people who want to do them. At least there are those who need runs for the glamour to help with their queues.

Everyone before or after the tome event will still need to queue – just not as relentlessly as they do now.

They've sold the Skallic healer and Bonewicca caster sets in the past because those were fan contest designs, but anyone who joins the game today will have to run the dungeons for it if they want it now, even if the sets might reappear in a future tome event. It all works in waves.

(Or they could just go for the guaranteed drop model, which hasn't stopped anyone from having to run the dungeons either. And improve EXP rewards for the 50/80 dungeon roulette.)

Good grief. I was just joking about Shisui. I didn't think I would have to spell out how silly it would be to put the Shisui gear in the list of items, but I also guess there is not much need to in a thread from you. Are you compelled to correct every single little detail about the game, or can you actually take a step back and realize when a poster is on your side?

Just so you know, I am a huge glamour chaser and well aware of what you're asking for, and how dungeon drops work. I've been playing the game a really long time.

Running a predictable number of dungeons for tokens is preferable to running them over and over at the mercy of RNG.

I guarantee you can get what you want before the next moogle event, even if you run each dungeon once a week.
