it's a post world/data center visit world wherein the pool of people one is exposed to has exponentially increased and one where it's apparently too much to expect people to not spam advertisements, be publicly horny, or not be general asshats without just writing off any social aspect of the game wholesale and playing it like some single player jrpg. apparently it's also too much to ask for a bigger blacklist to curate your own game experience and stop seeing all the unmitigated spam, horny posting and asshattery since the gms are decorative at best.

I only BL people who've already done the same to me due to not measuring up to their arbitrary performance standards so I don't waste time trying to join their PFs in the future.

Said people were typically being rude and obnoxious to the party as a whole so I don't consider it much of a loss.

Just make it so if someone deletes you on their end, they vanish on your end too. I swear this would solve most of the overcrowding issues.
Or maybe streamline the whole buddy list UI entirely. Every time I go to trim mine, it's sluggish as hell and when I delete someone I have to wait for the entire list to reload every individual name. It does this every single time, for every name, and after like 5 or 6 people I just do something else because I can't be bothered to fight this game's godawful UI.
