Lots of beautiful-looking games coming out in the next years, I doubt players will continue to subscribe to an old MMO that refuses to change visually.


Be it a remake or a direct sequel I would welcome a new Final Fantasy XIV as I'm getting tired of this one, I don't think an MMO should last more than ten years and to expect to have players subscribed for so long is absurd.


If I were Square-Enix's CEO I would have started making the next MMO two years ago, they'd wish they had done it when the player-base begins to thin.

I'm very confused here. Why shouldnt an MMO last more than 10 years? And why is it absurd to expect people to be subbed that long? If the quality is there where's the problem? Most AAA looking MMOs lack substance and generally don't last.

It seems to me you subscribe to the "better looking = better overall" mantra and I have to disagree. I still consider Legend Of Dragoon to be one of the best rgps yet that game is super dated graphically.

Also just saying. How do you know what they aren't and are working on?

My bad. The game is perfect and nothing is wrong with. In fact, they should not release any more expansions. Just leave it as is. Anyone that leaves the game is better off without.

I'm happy with the current graphics and actually dislike the increased detail on recent gear.

If they're going to put large-scale work into improving the game for the long term, I would rather see it spent on improving the inventory management and Duty Finder matching.

There's no such thing as perfection. Keep ignoring the fact that they're actually working on graphical updates for 7.0.
