    Honestly, I wish they would just do it like paintings. Just one phasmascape and you can switch the screens like you would a picture frame.

    Yes, i thought about the same thing, would free up item space and make it easier to change them. They digged them self into a corner with this thing, i don't know if they can remove a house item once its in the game or rework it entirely.
