There is something you need to think about... REALLY think about. So I was doing one of the Omega Trials where you fight Midgardsormr and no one knew the fight. I explain the fight mechanics and even mark myself so people can just stand where I am if in doubt what to do. We finish the fight with a "one and done" and it was all thanks to my mentorship and you know what thanks I got? 6 commendations. 6!
I'm a MENTOR! What good does a commendation do ME! I was under the impression if you were a mentor then Au Ra women would like throw themselves at your feet to be able to breed with you but NOOoooOOO....I get commendations.
I get no respect I tell ya...no respect.
You don't get the respect for grinding to some fancy title, it need to be otherwise earned hence the achievement to become a mentor is pointless, unless you are willing to actually walk the extra mile.
In some ways... you can say Git Gud... and people always take that as a harrashment... but the fact is.. you need to get good at what you are doing, if everything was just given and whatever you would never excell in anything you want to do, also never would progress in what you want to do.... if you fall alot... you must learn to get back onto your knees then legs.... and try again untill you finally got it.
I can't give any better advise other than complaining about things and for self not decided to do anything about it, then the fail does not rely on the system... on how people react to you... on how the content in the game treat you when you engage it... but it comes all back to you having failed and not wanting to try and overcome the burden ahead of you, people can offer you suggestions in how to become better, but it is the mentor itself or whatever thing inside the game that need to overcome that obstacle in game in the end.
DW, I'm sure they actually don't think like that. Seems to be just a tongue-in-cheek joke post. There is something you need to think about... REALLY think about.

As a zoo vet tech, can confirm this. Our clouded leopards always chuff at me when I come up for medical behavior training and I LOVE THEM SO FREAKING MUCH. Our geriatric lion, before he was humanely euthanized about a month ago, would always do these funny growl things while receiving his laser therapy for arthritis, it sounded like an angry growl but he was rubbing up on the fence separating him from us and grooming himself and demanding treats.Fun fact. You'd think you'd be implying either Miqo'te or Hrothgar. But there's only one race you'd be describing. For one simple pedantic reason:
Lions can't purr.
That's the difference between Felids and Panthers (Felinae and Pantherinae). Panthers roar, Felids purr. Because there's a bone (technically, a bit of cartilage) in Panthers that disable purring, but do something to their throats that allow them to roar. As for what panthers do to show contentment instead of purring, it's a thing called chuffing or Prusten, which kinda sounds like they're sniffing really hard at you.
As for meowing, only Felids can produce meowing. Though panther cubs also meow, these technically later evolve into a weird moaning that resembles nothing like a meow.
So uh
Miqo'te, that comment's on you
On the note about lions, there's nothing quite like being right beside a lion when he starts roaring and sends the rest of the lions in the building into a roaring frenzy.
None of the tigers I currently work with have chuffed, but the ones I used to work with at a different zoo sure did.
Gosh, cats are freaking great. Too bad lizards are better! I love our Komodo dragon so much (he's such a good boiiii and takes his arthritis laser therapy so well).

Woosh.
Hey now, I'll have you know my macro is "Zebra Rune pets and dotes <t> as is hrothgar tradition", which I stole from another hroth player who only only had one of those emotes. Of course it comes with the emotes actually happening too!
Now, back to work as I deal with this hospitalized duck that just pooped on me

Arthritis Laser Therapy sounds like a great name for a classic metal tribute band.As a zoo vet tech, can confirm this.
