It's generally right there in your party menu. No one wants to admit that it's there. I ran alliance for a bit the last time this was more active and every time I got CT, I got a new player prompt and/or saw someone low level enough.

Mega threads don't cover multiple ideas, just the same one. Try and make a housing mega thread, there will still be more start up threads.MSQ roulette is four people now so 1/1/2
Raid Roulette is 3/6/15, which includes the CT series.
It would probably have to be made into a MSQ Raid Roulette, since only the CT stuff is needed for MSQ
Also if people just made one megathread about the topic, maybe it could be focused on instead of people making dozens of min threads that don't go anywhere.
At this point the current msq roulette it pointless and can return to leveling like it used to be. And remove the cs lock. If people want to do it without interpretations there's trust.

Yay this topic again. Anyway besides the whole needed for MSQ now reason as to why non ilv cheese happens is there isn't anything that covers the not at an expansion's lv cap but has a better ilv than the raid their doing level range in the raid type umbrella. There would be times when I was leveling up a job in the late 50s where I wish I could be a factor in having a Void Ark raid to pop. Yet since that job wasn't 60 it never was going to happen. Also 80% having new people in CT seems a bit high. Or as normal for me I must have rotten luck.

You don't know how duty finder works, do you?I suppose if they do want to move CT raid into MSQ roulette, they will have to force it to work similarly to a Mentor Roulette: filling basically any viable empty slots except with the only possible duties to get consisting Castrum, Prae, Porta, and CT Raids. Also disables party queueing.

Could also go with:Currently, you have a choise between:
A) Dont iLvL cheese and get a long alliance for not so much exp, but have somewhat engaging content
B) Cheese and go to a 20 minute corridor where you can press like 4 buttons, AND get the same Exp as above
While a lot of people will prefer A, it takes just 1 person picking B to drag a light party into Crystal tower
At this point I will take any of the solutions people have proposed the last few months:
- Make the roulette use your highest iLvL equippable for your current class (So if you unequip, it still considers your max iLvL)
- Buff the exp depending on how long the duty is, 40 minutes to 1 hour alliances going as up as to an entire level of exp
- Move CT to the MSQ roulette
- Make a separate roulette for non-CT alliances
Regardless of the solution, people are either doing Alliance roulette for Crystal tower, or avoiding it because they know its a 90% chance to crystal tower, and something has to be done about it
A) Allow us to remove one (1) piece of content from a roulette (ie. goodbye Sycrus you are by far the dumbest alliance raid to date for me)
B) Allow us to queue for more than 5 pieces of content at a time so I can make my own roulette and avoid CT altogether
I'm tired of being told to wait for post-patches and expansions for fixes and increased healing requirements that are never coming. Healers are not fun in all forms of content like all jobs should be, they're replaced by tanks and dps due to low healing requirements and their dps kit is small for 0 reason, when in the past we had more options and handled things just fine. I refuse to play healer in roulette come DT. I refuse to heal EXs, I refuse to go into Savage, and I am boycotting Ultimate.

Yet almost any time this topic gets brought up it's practically the same thing over and over again. The same arguments about how many are doing it. People chiming in that they don't unlock the other alliance raids either on their mains or on alts because they want to do quick easy brain dead. Or they know a person that does it. Then there's just about the same ideas people bring up that in their mind would or should solve it. All the while wishing the devs would do something about it. Housing is a poor example as there's plenty of topics that fall under the generic topic of housing. Anywhere from complaining about never having enough houses to wishing you could use the Z access while decorating.Mega threads don't cover multiple ideas, just the same one. those topics pop up really fast these days, eh?
i agree there has to be done domething about it. alone the possibility to cheese it id ridiculous. but it wont change as much as some people seem to believe it would

Come on, you know I'm talking about the limited number of houses.Yet almost any time this topic gets brought up it's practically the same thing over and over again. And I like how you agree with me. Thanks for proving my point. Same tired arguments round and round.
nono, I got CT with someone who was stark naked, there was no newcomer. No one was in cutscene, there was no such prompt on the chat saying "Someone's new to the instance!". But someone was naked and then their HP bar miraculously grew.
So if it's such a placebo effect, where's the proof that it is indeed placebo? Because I'm willing to agree that there is no evidence that that person caused the instance to be CT, odds are I just happened to queue for it on a roulette, so it's RNG, thus there's no proof that the person caused it
.
But then I ask, okay but where is the proof that the person didn't cause it?
And here's the thing. If you think about it, odds are that's just how the roulette works and people who lower their item level get queued at random for instances that they can run, without dragging others in like it's assumed. Something I'm 75% sure happens. However, there's no confirmation that that's the case either, and that's what bothers me. Because if there's an exploit, then that should be looked into, and not blindly ignore it because "Well, odds are it isn't".
If there's evidence for it, then yay. Because so far we've only been relying on he-said, she-saw. Not actual code nor confirmation.
And that's the issue. Assuming this is indeed all paranoia, there isn't much to quell it. Which is why you see these threads constantly happening. I'm willing to admit it's probably not real, but I also don't have any convincing evidence to show me otherwise. Thus I assume it's real. Not "guilty until proven otherwise", but more the idea of "Okay, well... I'm willing to accept it might not be much, but are you sure it's not an exploit?"
And being told to shut up and accept it isn't answering that question. Hence, again, why these threads keep popping up.

And you want this swept under the rug because it'd affect your tome farming, eh?
Level 50-60, fine. CT
Only A.Raids unlocked, alright, CT.
First timers; CT.
Load in and your health suddenly jumps down to 35% as you hit the gearset and re-equip. Not ok.
The Roulettes were meant to feed into all available raids, ilvl cheesing is gaming the system.
