I doubt she'd be the tree as I'd assume it's the tree Althyk rapidly grew after she planted it. As so far each zone had some things resembling each of their respective Heavens. If she doesn't end up looking like how she so far has been depicted then I'd assume she'd look like a botanist or a farmer.

And Yggdrasil in Dragonquest IX was godess (Celestria) who'd once had a humanoid form but took the form of a tree.

We don't have to go that far: The Mana Series has the Mana Goddess BEING the Tree, in several games a maiden of the Mana Clan or similar female character becomes the next goddess by turning herself into the tree after the previous one is cut down. That said, chances are 99.9% that Nophica will appear as the art of her, given the ones we've seen resemble previous portrayals of them.

...However, I'd be tickled pink if Nophica retained the large chest... by being a very buff, well built man.

On topic, realistically I kinda expect Nophica to be a rehash of prior trial boss mechanics, like I expect some kind of roots attack that is similar to Ruby Weapon’s claw-fissures thing. And she might have a revealing outfit, but probably no more than we’ve already seen.

I also expect her to have a scythe despite her art, as her written description says she has one. That probably means spinning scythe moves a la Ferdiad. Probably the donut-or-circle mechanic like many bosses including Seiryu.

It’s usually how it works…raid bosses rehashing older mechanics.

It would be funny if she looked like a Lalafell with pig tails, a kerchief covering her hair. Freckles over the brim of her nose while she wore a pair of work boots, brown overalls, a baby blue shirt wielding her scythe.
