When do you think they'll add cross-region data center travel? OCE is screwed!

Did you actually watched what happened when Asmongold, no matter if you care about youtubers and streamers in this case, started to play this game? Or do you think all these players were just "happy to make new friends" there? Our community like every community is full of trolls and douchebags and i hope you know that. JP has a different culture that pretty much prevents much of this cause of cultural based politness.

And NA players are already bothering people on JP, players who mod the game are taking screenshots in studios the JP players build which they explicit say they are against even so much to write it in the housing info. Some studios already closed cause of this and i don't think with region travel that would be gone but rather just amplified to a thousand.

So i would say leave everyone happy where they are atm, if you really want to experience another region for yourself then make a alt, with the road to 80 buff you can get on new servers it is not that hard and it costs you no money at all.

Yeah, we got a ton of new players to the FC when Asmongold started playing. Was great, heaps of new people over from WoW to have a look around. Some stayed, some didn't. Some moved to OCE then quit because there's not enough people there

To play an massively multiplayer online game you need the multiplayer, you do undestand this right? This whole "you can't play in MY HOUSE" attitude is childish and ridiculous, not to mention, overall a detriment to FFXIV. But, like we're saying, if JP wants to be left out then leave them out. One hugely xenophobic community shouldn't have a complete say over the other regions.

But regarding Asmongold, there were many players who got outright banned when he started cause they harassed him and yes also new players with whales mounts and mentor crowns. I don't think neither EU nor JP wants that attitude and culture seeping into our datacenters, really no thank you. We are happy that you have your place over there somewhere where you can troll and meme to your hearts content.

Hi, I'm a Kiwi OCE who plays on NA and has done so since 2013. Ping is higher than if I were an American but fine. Have cleared all Ultimates and savage content. Don't speak for us.

I am not sure who you are referring to about trolling and memeing? Someone in this thread? Me? Or are you lumping all NA players into a casual racist opinion that has very little basis in reality? Bad eggs exist in all regions.
